Why Do We Give?
We want House of Brethren Gospel Christian Church to be known as a generous church because we serve a God who has been so generous with us. We know that we are merely stewards of all God has blessed us with, and He has called us to bless others. We believe that giving is a reflection of the work God has done in us and generosity which He has shown us. We would ask that you prayerfully consider making a recurring gift as way to partner with us in helping people who are far from God find life in Jesus.

The Bible is clear. Galatians 6:2, NKJV says, “Bear one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” Jesus says it this way, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself (Matthew 19:19)”.

We believe that a vital part of belonging is helping to build the kingdom of God through our sacrificial giving. Making a regular financial contribution to the work of the church is not only biblical but a very practical way of standing shoulder to shoulder with the whole church and demonstrating your commitment and support. Giving sacrificially and cheerfully of our finances is part of our worship. It’s not something we do because we have to: it is something we get to do joyfully in response to God so freely blessing and saving us (2 Corinthians 8-9).
